For the second time in 2005, the Society has announced an expansion of hours. As the nearly 75-year old group with approximately 1,100 members continues a drive to enhance services, it announced it is adding hours on the first Saturday of each month. Effective August 6, since the organization is closed for the Fourth of July holiday, the library will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Now the Society will be open on the first and fourth Saturdays of each month. This gives it another day to better serve the thousands of members, students, and visitors from throughout the country who visit downtown Elkton in order to use the collections.
