Genealogy Bus Trip to Washington, D. C.
No genealogical hunt for family facts is complete without a trip to Washington,
D. C. to visit the National Archives and to check out the Daughters of the
Revolution Library. The Historical Society of Cecil County is sponsoring
a genealogical bus trip for experienced and novice researchers to visit these
repositories on Wednesday, September 15, 2004.
The coach will leave the Big Elk Mall in Elkton at 7 A. M. and will return
around 6:30 P. M. Those who would prefer to use the time to tour Washington
are welcome; the National Archives building is located on the mall and across
the street from a Metro station. The cost for transportation
is $21 for members of the Historical Society and $25 for non-members.
