| First printed about 100 years ago, the Bicentennial Commitee of Cecil County reissued this book in 1987. Its author, Mr.Racine, served in the Civil War in Co. I. fifth MD. Infantry Regiment, under Captain E.F.M.Faehty. Captain Faehty was a principal at the Elkton Academy. He largely recruited his men from the County. Mr.Racine recalls his experience in the War. |
